Actually without this part, my ix/N52 swap would have been completely impossible - there are light flywheels for the N52, but they only work with the N52 transmission (pilot bearing in the flywheel instead of the crank). It needs paired with the ATI damper for harmonics reasons, but I can't wait to get this thing in the car.. If you could squeeze out another 40bhp with headers + MILVs + intake + exhaust you're above E46 M3 power. No screaming 8k redline but the yanks seem to think an N52 is safe at 7200... Just thinking of ways to spend money I don't have It would be interesting to get a true before and after dyno to see how much the MILVs add on top of a good stage 1 tune without MILVs Its a pity the nearest decent dyno to me is a bit of a mission to get to!! I really ought to do a write up of the BPC tune because I am really really impressed with it so far. May 28, 2008 · when you put an engine on an engine dyno, and you get the h.p #'s (flywheel h.p.). how much is lost once the engine is put in the car, and ran on a chassis dyno ? i know a certain percentage is lost due to the driveline, but is there a standard % that is lost on all engines ?
